It has been only a couple of months since T-Mobile UK first released a budget smartphone, dubbed Vivacity, on a Pay-as-you-go offer.
Manufactured by ZTE, the device has a magnificent price to feature ratio; it was available at only 99.99 GPB.
But it seems T-Mobile was not too impressed with the performance of the device in the marketplace as they are introducing a 10 GPB cut down in its price. The device will now be available for 89.99 GPB.
While reducing the price by merely 10 GPB does not seem to be a big deal, if we consider the base price of the product, the discount accounts for an overwhelming 10 percent reduction in the price.
Just like other recently launched budget Android devices, Vivacity also has a mediocre set of features. It is powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and boasts of an impressive 3.5 inch touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The camera is 5 megapixels, and comes equipped with LED Flash. A 2GB microSD card is included in the box as well. Concerning connectivity, the device supports 3G, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, as well as GPS. Even though the phone is light on features, for the price, it is very affordable to those who want a basic phone.
