In the first weeks of this new year, FIFA 12 has emerged as the top-selling title in the UK gaming market, whilst Just Dance 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim make up the top three.
And it seems the popularity of EA's Fifa 12 is showing no signs of declining as it has managed to retain its numero uno position for the fourth consecutive week.
Interestingly, the sales figures for this week are half those of its first week, showing how incredibly impressive initial sales of the football (that's soccer to folks in the US) game is compared to other contemporary games.
The post Christmas season has affected sales figures for games in the UK as well as all over the world.
With games like Battleground 3 and Modern Warfare 3 slipping from their respective positions. Battleground 3 came fourth from second, and Modern Warfare 3 came fifth from its earlier third position, gaming site Fragland reports.
The Zumba Fitness original and sequel titles captured six and seventh place respectively.
The rating shows enthusiasm for fitness games which also captured many positions outside the top 10 in UK. As no new game is making its way onto the market this week, it seems likely that next week's ratings will have a similar look to them.
