Virgin America’s Tribute to Steve Jobs, Prints 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish' on Jet

Virgin America has paid homage to the tech legend and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs by putting one of his most famous speeches on the side of one of their jets.

According to the website MacRumors, one of Mr Job's most famous speeches - "Stay hungry, stay foolish" - has been painted on the side of an Airbus A320, which is part of his speech at Stanford University in 2005.

"The 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish' aircraft name was actually submitted as a tribute to Mr. Jobs by one of our employees in an internal plane naming competition," Virgin America spokesperson Abby Lunardini said in a statement to c|net.

"The idea behind Virgin America was to reinvent the travel experience by thinking differently about design and service--we are known for the tech-forward amenities we offer onboard," Lunardini added.

The fleet will be equipped with a bunch of high-tech services such as a quality Wi-Fi connection as well as power and touch screen entertainment outlets at every seat. In addition, the company is also planning to upgrade the existing Wi-Fi capabilities by offering the next-generation ATG-4 service from Gogo.
