Samsung's home grown operating system Bada is to release a new update 2.0 that will be arriving especially for S8500 Wave smartphones. In fact, a leaked version of the ROM was already available in the market, but already the official version is deemed to be a lot safer as well as complete.
Even though Samsung has not yet made any official announcement about the roll out, nor has the South Korean Tech giant disclosed any release date - but according to speculation, it will be made available very soon to all its global customers.
As a matter of fact, Samsung servers can easily and quickly roll out the update as even though Wave is a popular smartphone, Bada is not a highly popular or used operating system. Although it seems Samsung has little to handle, reported GSM Arena.
In order to check whether the update has been made available for the device owner's country or not, the Samsung S8500 Wave has to be connected to the owner's computer - and then by launching Samsung Kies software suite, one can then find out the availability. After launching the suite, it is important to follow the appropriate steps in order to create a backup.
It is expected that all the Wave devices will receive the update shortly.
