"We're very excited about this new name and the new features our identity system will offer," it added.

According to Mozilla, Persona will be a simple, easy to use offering as all users need to do in order to be eligible is sign up for the service with a valid email ID. Once the email address submitted is confirmed and verified by Mozilla, the user will be all set to take advantage of the wonderful features on offer by the company.
