ITProPortal has exclusively learnt from a source at LG that the new LG Optimus 3D Max handset won't be arriving in the UK after all, due to the lack of up take on the first model.
The LG Optimus 3D Max is the successor the Optimus 3D that arrived mid-last year and with the ability to both display, and capture 3D images and video, which can be viewed in 3D, without the need for any special glasses - on the device itself.
LG's new version was only announced last week and the decision has already been made not to bring this device to the UK, even though it has been brought to Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona and showcased as a LG premium product.
The handset also has the ability to transform Open GL-based 2D games and applications to 3D, along with Google Earth and Maps, too. This is besides being able to convert 2D pictures and video, into a 3D versions.
We have published today the world's first 3D video hands-on walkthrough of the LG Optimus 3D Max - in all its 3D glory.
