LG announced at Mobile World Congress 2012 their own entry into the quad core Android phone market, with the LG Optimus 4X HD mobile , which has now gained the hands -on picture treatment by ITProPortral.

Lucky Goldstar's flagship handset runs from the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core 1.5Ghz processor, with a true HD 4.7-inch IPS display

The high-end device also has 1GB of DDR 2 RAM, with 16GB of internal storage, with an 8 megapixel camera and a 1.3MP front-facing version - whilst running from Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich' 4.0.

How this stands out from the other notable quad core mobile phone at MWC 2012, the HTC One X, is the IPS display, which offers a more distinctive picture quality than the other handset.
