Ebuyer has slashed the price of the iPad 2 for only £300 down from £329 with a limit of two units per customer. The tablet cost £399 only three weeks ago and has now been superseded by the "New iPad" which has gone on sale in the UK today.
Launched in March last year, the iPad 2 comes with a 9.7-inch 1,024 by 768 pixels with a dual CPU core, dual GPU core Apple A5 system on chip, 512MB RAM and 16GB onboard storage.
Other features include a 1.3-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing one, Bluetooth, Wi-FI, a 10 hour battery life and iOS 5 (now upgradable to iOS 5.1).
The tablet is similar in size to the new iPad and a full 33 per cent thinner and 15 per cent lighter than the first generation iPad.
There are six main differences between the old iPad 2 and the new iPad; the display (a 2,048 by 1,536 pixels Retina Display class screen), 1GB RAM, a bigger battery, twice the graphics firepower, 4G connectivity and a much better camera.
