The subscription based YBUY advertises that for a monthly fee of $24.95, members can use various consumer electronics, home appliances, and kitchen devices.
The service was launched last September in the try-before-you-buy business, and now one of the most desired device currently on the market, as the new iPad was just added to the offer.
Members can experience the high-end features of the third generation iPad, without paying the full price for the device.
The fee of almost $25 allows customers to fully enjoy the tablet, for a whole month, before deciding on a purchase.
The first website members who decide to pay the rental fee and sign up for a new iPad, will receive the device on April 1st.
YBUY CEO Stephen Svajian explains the idea behind the service. "Typically, you'll wait in line for hours. Then, when you finally get into the store, there's someone right behind you breathing down your neck, pressuring you. And at the end of the day, you may only get five or ten minutes with a device that hundreds of other people have had their mitts on."
Instead of a stressful shopping experience, YBUY promises to bring the showroom to their members' living rooms.
