Motorola Atrix & Laptop Dock Bundle Discounted To £300

by Desire Athow, 07 Apr, 2012 News

The Motorola Atrix can now be purchased with its laptop dock bundle for just under £300 from Expansys, a deal given that the smartphone costs around £220 and the laptop dock itself costs a whopping £250 at Play.com (which means that the effective price of the accessory is £80).

The Atrix comes with a dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC clocked at 1GHz with a 4-inch capacitive display sporting a resolution of 960 by 540 pixels, a toughened Gorilla Glass, 1GB RAM, HDMI out, a five megapixel rear camera and a front facing two-megapixel one, a fingerprint reader, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1930mAh battery, HD video recording, Bluetooth, WiFi, microUSB and GPS.

The laptop dock allows the device to run a Linux-based computer experience using Motorola's Webtop operating system. You can access the web using Firefox, edit documents with Quickoffice and much more.

Unfortunately, unlike a similar accessory for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, the laptop dock, which has a 11.6-inch display, keyboard, touchpad and a 36Whr 3-cell battery doesn't come with any additional ports.
