Galaxy S3 Has Physical And Capacitive Buttons

by Emma Hay, 27 Apr, 2012 News

Another photo of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 has been released, revealing the phone's physical and capacitive buttons.

The photo is the latest in a string of pictures, confirmations and even videos of the next Galaxy device. In fact the last week has been so heavily drenched in Galaxy S3 rumours, you'd have to live under a rock to have missed it all.

Evident in the photo is a physical home key, centred at the bottom of the phone surrounded by a thin light. To either side are two separate capacitive buttons, menu on the left, back on the right, both of which light up.

Further speculation says the smartphone's display looks to be around 4.7 to 4.8 inches. It also appears to share the same curved display as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

The next Samsung Galaxy device has also been a sport of 'guess the name of the smartphone'. There's no official word from Samsung yet, as it has only called the new phone the "next Galaxy". Although there have been two different leaks by Samsung which would suggest that the device will be named the Samsung Galaxy S3.

ITProPortal will be at the launch on the 3rd May and will be live blogging the event. We will be sure to pass on all the official specifications, including what the phone is actually called, as soon as they are announced.
