Online retailer Kingofgadgets has put the Samsung Galaxy S3 - otherwise known as the GT-i9300 on preorder for a penny under £600; interestingly the shop says that the smartphone will be shipped on the 30th of May.

It's worth noting that KoG lists the complete specifications of the S3 - which it sells as a SIM free device - without any disclaimer.

The spec sheet reads as follows: a quad core Exynos 4412 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 8mm thick, 126g, a 4.7-inch 1,280 x 720 pixels Super AMOLED capacitive display, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, DLNA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 12-megapixel camera with flash, full HD video recording, front facing camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a 2050mAh battery.

Arguably, KoG could have put the description online to capture as much SEO as possible so we take this with a pinch of salt.

The phone will be launched at an invite-only event in London where ITProPortal.com will be reporting via Rob Kerr, our mobile editor.
