Carphone Warehouse is the first UK retailer to have opened the flood gates for the Samsung Galaxy S3 which it still calls the Next Galaxy.
The retailer, whose staff has apparently urged customers to hold off buying the iPhone 4S, is enticing customers to get the Galaxy S3 by offering a free Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet, the 10.1in 16GB Wi-FI only model, worth at least £399.
The offer is limited to the first 1000 pay monthly pre-orders. Other customers will also get a free Zagg Invisible shield protector and an in-car charger worth almost £30.
The phone has been announced less than one hour ago and comes with an eight-megapixel rear camera, a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, a quad core processor clocked at 1.4GHz (the Exynos 4412), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a 2100mAh battery, 16GB onboard memory and a microSD card.
The phone will also be available as a LTE model depending on the market and it's worth noting that Samsung has included a few of its own features like the S Beam, the AllShare, Smart Stay, the S Voice and more.
