iPhone 5 SIM Card Tray Slot Appears For Sale

While we're waiting for Apple to announce its sixth generation iPhone, some intrepid websites have already begun offering replacement parts. Perhaps in connection with Apple's suppliers, SW-Box.com has managed to list an intriguing product, called the "iPhone 5 Sim Card Tray Holder Slot."

Any interested buyers will have to pay up to $2.92 (£1.80 ) for the part. Currently, the website has reported this product as being out of stock, but the listing suggests that the company could deliver dozens of iPhone 5 SIM card tray holders in up to four days, anywhere in the world.

There is no way of knowing if this a genuine piece of the next iPhone sneaked from Apple's suppliers. If it is the real thing, the piece suggests slight differences in the next iPhone, compared to previous models.

The reportedly new tray features an unprecedented metal shelf while the metal frame is smaller. This little part could suggest Apple is planning to redesign the new iPhone.

Previous rumours on this matter led us to believe that the so-called iPhone 5 will have a metal back to replace the delicate glass panel.

This is not the first time purported parts for the next iPhone have surfaced online. SW-Box also offered home button keys in black and white as "replacement parts" for the iPhone 5.
