Samsung Galaxy Note Contracts Now Down To £20.50

by Desire Athow, 11 May, 2012 News

As expected the launch of the Galaxy S3 last week has caused the price of the S2, the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Note to fall down significantly.

Carphone Warehouse has a web exclusive offer for the Galaxy Note for £20.50 a month on a two year contract with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB internet on Vodafone.

A total cost of ownership of £492 is slightly more than what you'd pay for the phone (or phablet) on its own.

Hardware wise, it comes with a massive 5.3-inch 1,280 x 800 pixels Super AMOLED display, a dual core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage, an eight-megapixel rear camera and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Ice Cream Sandwich coming soon.

Samsung also bundled two exclusive features, the S Pen which is a stylus that runs on a capacitive display, and S Memo which is a note taking application.

The Galaxy S3 which comes with roughly the same specification (marginally smaller screen, lower resolution and quad core processor) costs just under £500 SIM Free and just over £25 per month on contract.
