Samsung Galaxy S3 Rival now available from £437

Asda is currently selling an unbranded, SIM Free HTC One X, the company's top of the range handset, for as little as £437 with free delivery to stores.

The phone, which was launched earlier this year, comes with a massive 4.7in 1,280 x 720 pixels touchscreen, a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, plus 25GB free cloud storage via Dropbox for two years.

It also sports Beats Audio integration (but no Beats earphones it seems), Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense UI, HTC Watch movie on demand service, an eight-megapixel camera with HTC Image Sense and the ability to capture up to 20 pictures in rapid succession (or five in burst mode), a 1800mAh battery and up to eight hours talk time on 3G.

At 8mm, it is thinner than most rival devices and it is currently, by a long way, the cheaper quad core smartphone on the market.

Compared to the likes of the S3 though, it doesn't sport some more advanced, Samsung specific features like the S Voice, the S Beam or the ability to track eye motion.
