Misco is currently selling the Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 with its docking station for only £340. The tablet proved to be one of the more popular Android ones particularly because of its innovative keyboard that doubled as a battery charger.
It comes with an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 10.1in 1,280 x 800 pixels Wide-View IPS capacitive touch panel covered with Gorilla Glass, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Android 3.0 Honeycomb upgradable to ICS, HDMI, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front facing one, Polaris Office 3.0 productivity suite plus one year of unlimited Asus Webstorage for free.
Other features include two USB ports, a built in SD card reader (in the keyboard docking station), 9.5 hours battery life without the keyboard and 16 hours with it. It is 13mm thick which is significantly more than the competition but at 680g, it is still quite portable.
The TF101 has been superseded by the Transformer Prime and by the TF300 which keeps the same enclosure but swaps the dual core processor for a quad core one.
