Price of dual core PC with 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD falls to £165

Online retailer CCL is selling an entry level computer, the Eclipse E350, for a mere £165 including delivery.

Oddly enough you can only find this deal on Ebay and not on the retailer's website where it costs £5 extra (where it is known as the Alpha Pioneer PC).

The computer comes with an AMD Zacate FT1 APU (an E-350 with two cores, clocked at 1.6GHz and having a TDP of 18W). It comes with 1MB L2 cache and a DirectX11 compatible AMD Radeon HD 6310 GPU.

Other features includes a 4GB memory module (PC3-10600) from the Mushkin Enhanced Essentials range, a 1TB SATAII hard disk drive with 32MB cache and a 5900RPM rotational speed, a 22x DVD writer from Samsung, an MSI E350DM-E33 microATX Motherboard with an Hudson D1 chipset and a CiT Shade Micro ATX Black Interior Mesh Case with seven internal and external expansion bays.

Expansion and connectivity options include two DIMM slots, six SATA ports, GbE, 8-channel audio, three PCI Express & one PCI slots, DVI-D, HDMI, six USB ports, PS2 keyboard and mouse and a D-Sub connector.

The computer comes with one year Return To Base warranty and doesn't come with any operating system. CCL could possibly cut the price of the product by opting to leave out the optical drive (controversial) or by choosing a more integrated motherboard bundle.
