Google has provided an update on when buyers should expect to receive their Nexus 7 tablets.
Though the search giant didn't reveal a hard launch date for the Nexus 7 - the standard line was "mid-July" - Google has been shipping the devices to those who pre-ordered them.
In a note on its support page, Google said that it will ship all 8GB Nexus 7 tablets to UK customers by 20 July, and all 16GB orders placed by 30 June by the same date. The rest will go on sale next week.
On the Nexus 7 order page, Google currently lists the 8GB version of the Nexus 7 as in stock and shipping within 3-5 business days. The 16GB version is listed as "ships soon" and warns users to expect it within 3-4 weeks.
Last week, there were reports that the 7-inch tablet was already out of stock at GameStop, Sam's Club, and other brick-and-mortar outlets in the US.
Yesterday meanwhile, there were reports of the tablet's 'soft launch' reaching UK stores for the first time.
