Online retailer Play.com has cut the price of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to just £449.99 with free delivery. Only the Marble White version of the handset is available but it is both unlocked and new.
The phone went on sale on 29 May for £499.99 at Carphone Warehouse and can be routinely found for around £550 at popular stores.
It is not the first time that the S3 has reached this price but previous sellers were Amazon Marketplace vendors, which meant stock was limited. Customers can also buy the Galaxy S3 for as little as £26 per month on a two-year contract via T-mobile.
The smartphone has a 4.8in 1,280 x 720 resolution Super AMOLED display, a quad-core Exynos processor (the 4412) clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, 50GB cloud storage from Dropbox, an 8-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The pebble-like design of the S3 doesn't hide the fact that it's still a rather large handset that you won't be able to stick easily in your back pocket.
During our review of the handset, we found that a number of features set the Galaxy S3 apart from other smartphones, such as S-Voice (Samsung's answer to Siri), the Smart Stay (which features some nifty eye-tracking technology) and S-beam (which allows short distance data transfer).
