HelloFax has partnered with Box (formerly Box.net) to promote its new HelloSign service. This enables you to fill out and sign documents online with legally binding digital signatures. The offer provides 25GB worth of free online storage from Box for life, on the condition that you sign to the free HelloSign service.
To take advantage of this, just sign up to HelloSign and you will receive an email with a link to a promotional Box page. From there, you can enter your email address and create a password to complete the setup.
Given that Box usually only gives out 5GB with its free account, this deal is pretty good, even if it does come with a number of limitations. The first is that the maximum file size you can upload is 100MB. And then there's the fact that you cannot sync sub-folders, and you can only upload (and download) files, one by one.
Still, 25GB of online storage from one of the biggest cloud providers around can be quite useful, especially if you link it up using online services such as IFTTT (which facilitate the automatic transfer of data from one solution/service to a particular storage point).
This is not the first time Box has dished out free cloud storage. When competition from Apple (with iCloud) and Google (with Google Drive) heated up, Box offered 50GB to iOS users as well as some Android users.
