You can now grab an HTC One X for as little as £20.50 per month from Orange (on Panther 20 via BuyMobilePhones.net). That's £472 for the duration of the two-year contract, which is marginally more than the price of the SIM-free version of the phone itself.
The contract comes with 100 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB data, free BT Openzone Wi-Fi (with 2GB allowance), Orange Wednesdays and one free 'Swapables' - free apps like Deezer or the Times).
The HTC One X, which was launched earlier this year, comes with an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core system-on-chip processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
There’s also 1GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, an 8-megapixel camera with full HD recording, Beats Audio and Image Sense technology.
As expected, it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has an HTC Sense 4.0 overlay. The One X was the first quad-core superphone to hit the market. Since then, the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Note 2, the LG Optimus 4X HD, the Huawei Ascend D and the ZTE Grand X have been launched.
