Fancy a 4G smartphone right now? Well, you can get a HTC Velocity 4G smartphone in the UK for as little as £305 with a one-year warranty and free delivery from eBay’s e_cell, a popular retailer with more than 870,000 positive feedbacks.
The device, which was launched at the beginning of the year, has a dual-core MSM8260 system-on-chip clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.5in 960 x 540 S-LCD display, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. It also packs Bluetooth, microUSB, Wi-Fi, DLNA, a 1620mAh battery (with seven hours of battery life) and Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread plus Sense UI 3.5.
Unique amongst existing HTC phones is the fact that the Velocity 4G has a tapered body, weighs 164g and is 11.3mm thick. However, the phone is not officially available in the UK.
HTC has the One XL, which is a notch higher (both in specs and in price) than the Velocity 4G. Other smartphones announced by EE at the launch of the network earlier this year include the Nokia Lumia 820, the Lumia 920, the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE and the Huawei Ascend P1 LTE.
