Adobe to share HTML5 secrets via free 'Create the Web' events

Adobe is hitting the road with free "Create the Web" events in London, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Sydney. The first event will be streamed live from San Francisco on 24 September, and will show off new tools and services for "HTML, CSS, motion graphics, web development and more," Adobe said.

The London event will be held between 09:30 and 16:30 on 2 October at Leicester Square.

The company has been making strides to have its tools work on multiple platforms - PCs, tablets, and smartphones - using HTML5 and dynamic layout reformatting tailored to each device type. Software applications supporting these new capabilities include the new Muse (a WYSIWYG website designer), Edge Animate (an HTML5/CSS3-based replacement for Flash effects), and Brackets (an open source code editor) as well as CS6 suite members InDesign, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.

You can keep up with the events' goings on at the Create the Web Twitter account. Presenters also share their materials via tweets there.
