The Ultrabook costs £679 but two coupons - 3TV61GGR7B51MC & G7PJK9DTGZ9R9G - bring the price down by £129. The Inspiron 14Z pushes the boundaries of what one would normally consider to be a traditional Ultrabook.

There’s an optical drive for a starter, a 14in 1,366 x 768 display plus a 320GB SATA 5400RPM hard disk drive complemented by a 32GB MSATA flash memory card; clearly some uncharacteristic features for an Ultrabook.

The rest of the specification makes of the Inspiron 14Z a very enticing product. There’s an Intel Core i5-3317U processor clocked at 1.7GHz with an AMD Radeon HD7570M GPU with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, 2GB of cloud storage via DataSafe, a 15-month subscription to McAfee and one-year next day onsite hardware support.
