Apple iPhone 4S now available for £399

T-Mobile is selling the Apple iPhone 4S for as little as £399 including a £5 credit and free delivery via its eBay outlet.

The units are brand-new and come with a one-year warranty. On top of that, T-Mobile is throwing in one year of free internet (worth £60) which makes it a perfect choice for a light user looking for a PAYG Apple iPhone. In comparison, Apple sells the iPhone 4S SIM Free for £429.

The phone has been superseded by the iPhone 5 since 12 September, but it is still a very capable handset. Check out our comparison between the two devices to see how they stack up against one another.

Other than a better system-on-chip, bigger screen with a marginally higher resolution, a better front-facing camera, LTE and a slightly bigger battery, the iPhone 5 doesn’t seem to offer much to existing iPhone 4S users.

The iPhone 4S has a 3.5in retina display with a 960 x 640 resolution, a dual-core Apple A5 chipset, 512MB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, an 8-megapixel camera and full HD video recording, a front facing camera, Siri voice solution and can be upgraded to iOS 6.

Note that you will only be able to purchase two phones every three months.
