The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will go on sale in the UK on 2 November according to an updated product page from unlocked-mobiles.com, which lists it with a suggested retail price of £295.
The device was announced last week and, as we discussed previously, is closer to the Galaxy S Advance than the Galaxy S3 when it comes to specifications.
The Galaxy S3 Mini has a dual-core system-on-chip (an ST-Ericsson U8500 clocked at 1GHz), with 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a 4in 800 x 480 AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing one, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a microSD card slot and NFC capability as well.
Vodafone, Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse have already announced that they will be taking pre-orders for the phone.
At nearly £300, though, the smartphone is rather expensive, bearing in mind that the Galaxy S3 itself costs around £370, while the LG Optimus 4X HD sells for less than £300.
