Android users can now download Twitter 3.4 for their devices.

The Twitter app, one of the most popular apps on Android, has been updated to include new features and improvements upon existing ones.

User profiles have been renovated, and now contain header photos as well as photo streams - which are also available on events. Pinch-to-zoom on photos is another new addition to the service.

Further enhancements have been made in the settings of protected account management and in dealing with follower requests. Twitter users now have the option to accept or deny new followers.

Additionally, developers have incorporated search suggestions for hashtags, topics and people, as well as various minor fixes and refinements.

Twitter 3.4 is compatible with all Android devices from 2.1 Éclair upwards and can be downloaded from the Google Play app store for free.
