Sony’s new flagship handset, the Xperia T, is now available from Orange (and on the EE network) for as little as £350 on PAYG with an extra, compulsory £10 top up (on one of the five animal plans available).
The smartphone, which was launched at IFA a couple of months ago, is a minor improvement on the Xperia S, with the biggest physical difference being the transparent LCD bar which is now gone. It also adopts the same design as the Xperia Arc S.
The Xperia T comes with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260A system-on-chip clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 13-megapixel camera with full HD video recording plus an Exmor R sensor, a 4.6in 1,280 x 720 Reality Display with mobile Bravia technology, Wi-Fi, Android 4.0 ICS, NFC, USB, 50GB free online storage for life, a Walkman App, DLNA, screen mirroring, a 1,850mAh battery, a microSD card reader, a 60-day subscription to Music online and Playstation Certification.
The Xperia T is also on sale on a two-year contract at Tesco Phone Shop on Orange, with 200 minutes, unlimited texts, 100MB data and a pair of Sony headphones for £20.50 per month.
