Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini now down to a mere £15.50 per month

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is on sale at Carphone Warehouse on a two-year contract with Orange for a mere £15.50 per month. That’s a total cost of ownership of £372.

Three plans are available at this price: 200 minutes; 100 minutes and 100MB data; 50 minutes and 250MB data. All three come with unlimited texts.

Interestingly, the phone costs a massive £290 on PAYG from E2Save, which means that (with the Carphone Warehouse deal) you will only pay £82 for the duration of the contract, which is a bargain. The smartphone was launched only a few weeks ago and we couldn’t help but point out just how much of a let-down the S3 Mini has been for most of us.

The phone’s specification is similar to that of the Galaxy S2 (or the Galaxy Ace 2). It has a dual-core system-on-chip clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 4in 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, NFC capabilities, a front facing VGA camera and more.

As expected though, the phone comes with the same, pebble-like design as the Galaxy S3, as well as some features found on its bigger brother, such as Smart Stay.
