£1,908 Apple MacBook Pro 15in Retina Display with an Intel Core i7 CPU

Online retailer, The Hut, is selling Apple’s MacBook Pro Retina Display for only £1,908 after a 17 per cent discount off its suggested retail price of £2,299. You will need to enter the voucher code THGMAC at checkout and the offer is valid for a limited period.

Note that this particular stock keeping unit has been discontinued earlier last week and has been replaced by a model that has twice the amount of system memory and a slightly faster Intel Core i7 processor.

Alternatively, it’s worth noting that Apple sells a cheaper model at £1,799 that has the same amount of memory as the one from THG but comes with a smaller hard disk and a slower processor.

This MacBook Pro retina display comes with a quad-core Ivy Bridge-based Intel Core i7 processor clocked at 2.6GHz with a turbo boost of 3.6GHz, 8GB of RAM, 512GB flash, a 15.6in IPS display with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, an Nvidia GeForce GT650M GPU with 1GB dedicated GDDR5 memory, a HD webcam, two Thunderbolt and two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, a SD card slot, Wi-Fi, a full size backlit keyboard, up to seven hours battery life and a massive 95Whr battery.

The laptop is only 18mm thick and weighs just over 2Kg which makes it light and thin enough to easily qualify as an Ultrabook. Note that it is powered by Mac OS X Lion. You can read the review of the Apple MacBook Pro 13in here.
