You can buy the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone from O2 on PAYG for as little as £530 plus an extra compulsory £10 top up credit that will give you 75 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB data. The smartphone went on sale a few days ago and already there are talks of surprisingly good sales, which needs to be taken with a pinch of salt given that how many units were actually sold remains to be seen.
The BlackbBrry Q10 was unveiled earlier this year alongside the BlackBerry Z10 during an event which saw the company formerly known as RIM drop its name and adopt that of its product line as well as launching its operating system.
The Q10 is currently one of the most expensive mainstream handsets on the market, possibly alongside the Samsung Galaxy S4.
It is essentially the keyboard-equipped version of the Z10 and share quite a few features with the latter. There’s a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 3in 720 x 720 pixel touchscreen display, a physical QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, a rear 8-megapixel camera, NFC, Wi-Fi and Blackberry 10 OS.
