Twilio’s first European cloud communication conference coming to London

Twilio, a leading cloud communications firm, has announced that it will be bringing the first TwilioCon Europe conference to London on 21 October.

The day-long event is designed to allow developers, entrepreneurs and enterprises share ideas and discuss the future of business communications.

The day will feature presentations from companies that are utilising cloud-based communications to better serve their customers, panels with industry leaders that will tackle key issues facing the European startup community and technical workshops.

There will also be a keynote address with product updates from Twilio CEO, Jeff Lawson.

"Cloud-based communications platforms are making it possible for any developer and enterprise to innovate and create a better experience for their customers," said Lawson.

"We've been hugely impressed by the innovation taking place in Europe and are excited to bring TwilioCon to London this autumn. It will be a day to celebrate what's being built by software people across the continent, and an opportunity to network with the cream of the European tech community."

The TwilioCon Europe event follows on from three years of TwilioCon US, for which hundreds of developers, entrepreneurs and enterprises from over 20 countries have gathered in San Francisco, where Twilio is headquartered.

Held at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London, the early lineup of speakers are Jeff Lawson, Nick Lansley, Head of Tesco R&D, Andreas Constantinou, CEO of Vision Mobile and Tom Blomfield, co-founder of GoCardless.

Tickets for TwilioCon Europe are available now. Early-bird registration, open until 24 September costs £99, after which the price will go up to £199. For students, tickets cost just £25.
