Amazon is selling the Samsung Galaxy Mega i9205 for as little as £301, which is a decent price for a phone with that configuration. Note that you will also get £1 MP3 credit to be redeemed at Amazon's MP3 downloads store.
The Galaxy Mega, otherwise known as the GTI9205ZKABTU, has a massive 6.3in display with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution. This allows for new features like split screen/dual view to come to life thanks to the Mega User Interface.
It is actually bigger than either the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the Galaxy Note 3, making it the biggest Samsung mobile by a mile. There's also a smaller version (Mega 5.8) but it is has yet to be announced in the UK.
The rest of the configuration reads as follows: a 3,300mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, a microSD card slot, 8GB of RAM, a rear 8-megapixel camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
If you don't using a physically smaller screen however, the Samsung Galaxy S3, with a quad-core system on chip, an overall more portable design and a lower price tag, is a preferable option.
