UK Cloud Awards 2014 landing in February

The UK cloud industry’s best companies will be recognised early next year at the very first UK Cloud Awards.

City Hall in London will play host to the UK Cloud Awards 2014 on 26 February with 19 awards in various categories covering products, providers and achievements.

The awards, which have been set up by CloudPro in conjunction with the Cloud Industry Forum and TechUK, coincide with the opening day of Cloud Expo Europe that takes in Excel London on 26 and 27 February 2014.

Each category’s winner will be selected by a panel of five judges that includes Max Cooter, editor of CloudPro, Andy Burton, founder of Cloud Industry Forum, Will Venters, information systems lecturer at London School of Economics, Maggie Holland, group editor of ITPro and CloudPro, and Ian Osborne, director of software and electronics at techUK.

The UK Cloud Awards 2014 will be split into three distinct sections with the first aiming to find the companies that are running the most innovative projects. The second one will reward cloud service providers and the third is geared towards vendors that are producing standout products for the cloud computing sector.
