Samsung Galaxy S4 looks pretty in pink

They may call it the January blues, but the first month of 2014 will see an unusual splash of winter colour with the introduction of a pink Samsung Galaxy S4, exclusively at Phones 4u.

Available to pre-order now, the rosy handset completes what Phones 4u claim is the “widest Galaxy S4 colour range in the UK." Sporting a light pink front and back with a bronze trim around its edges, it’s the perfect accessory for anyone whose idea of a balanced diet is a candyfloss stick in each hand.

Pricewise, the pink fourth generation Galaxy S will be sold on contract with prices starting at £33 per month for 3G (with 1GB of data thrown in on Vodafone) and £38 per month for 4G (6GB, again on Vodafone).

As cherry icing on the cake, 4G customers will also get a free wireless speaker – worth £120 – to sweeten the already sugary deal.

Chip through the candy-coated exterior, and the Galaxy S4 has a 1,920 x 1,080, 5in Super AMOLED HD display with excellent viewing angles. It’s also incredibly fast, thanks to a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. Indeed, we gave it a pretty shiny four and a half stars when we reviewed it back in April, impressed by its speed, features and relatively small size considering the display itself.
