Money Dashboard is coming to mobile devices with the account aggregator service allowing busy professionals to oversee all their accounts in one place.
The Money Dashboard, which has been available as a desktop app for some time, has been specifically designed for mobile users to make it simpler than ever to access financial information on the go.
“Consumers are increasingly looking to mobile for their financial needs, both as a companion to the desktop version and as the main channel. They want to be able to access their financial data whenever and wherever they are. We anticipate with this mobile optimised site that mobile traffic will increase to 60% of all logins over the next 12 months,” stated Gavin Littlejohn, founder and CEO of Money Dashboard.
Launched in 2010, the service allows users to aggregate all finances in one place and that extends to savings and current accounts as well as credit cards. It also allows users to intelligently tag all financial data in order to sort it into categories to separate work from play and vice-versa. Lastly, it creates simple graphs and pie charts in order to show where money goes each month.
The move to mobile was an obvious one and even before it was optimised for mobile use, it revealed 12 per cent of its users were already accessing the service using a mobile device.
Money Dashboard’s mobile launch is part of a wider growth strategy that stems from a £2.7 million investment round that was completed in November 2013 and will lead to native Android and iOS apps being launched over the coming months.
