Ben Chai discusses with Ed Gibson, Chief Security Advisor to Microsoft about the potential Security Threats in 2008.

In this interview Ed outlines the various methods that criminals are using to siphon information from victims when they are online and the evolving methodologies being used to gather those information.

Ed Gibson is the Chief Security Advisor for Microsoft UK.

His main role is to serve as an advisor to Microsoft’s customers and the public, and to the work that Microsoft is doing to improve the security of its products.

Before joining the company, Mr Gibson had a 20-year career as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He was a recognised expert in investigating complex, international money laundering schemes, asset identification and confiscation and intellectual property theft.
