The EBOX, as it will be known, will be presented to journalists and visitors on the 3rd of June and is said to be an Intel based device with a 945 Chipset, 2GB RAM, a 160GB hard disk drive as well as several OS options but no optical disk drive.
The EBOX, which looks like a Nintendo WII box, is expected to cost well under £200; earlier this month, Chile Hardware reported that the device will be called the B202 and will weigh less than 1Kg.
The South American website however pointed to a 1GB/80GB mdoel which means that Asus will probably have several versions ready at launch.
The Asus EEE success has also been a severe blow to the ambitions of Intel Rival, AMD, which found itself pushed out of a lucrative and booming market.
