MSI Launches Wind Range of PC
Facebook
Micro-Star International has introduced two new products: Wind mini-desktop and the Wind mini-laptop. Both the devices are equipped with Intel Atom microprocessor.

The desktop launch from MSI is an answer to Asustek's launch of Eee Box, last month, which is a mini desktop that runs on the Atom microprocessor and will be on sale from July.

MSI's desktop is almost one-third the size of the conventional PCs and its dimensions are 300mmX260mmX65mm.

The desktop consumes 35 watts to operate in full speed as compared to previous usage of 250-watts by traditional PCs.

Apart from its compact size and the energy-saving feature, the desktop has a 160GB hard-drive and it also has a built-in Wi-Fi 802.11b/g wireless web connectivity.

MSI has also launched its Wind mini-laptop, with 7 to 10-inch LCD screen, weighs 2.2pounds and facilitates Wi-Fi connectivity. It also boasts of a 1.3 mega pixel webcam and a four in one card reader.
