21 August, 2008, by Desire Athow

Apple is all buckled up to employ the Nike + iPod concept to its iPhone. The information is reportedly spread through several leaked screenshots that have cropped up on a French website iPhon.fr, but the company hasn’t confirmed it yet.

The images on the website features Nike + application on the main interface of the iPhone with several other supplementary applications including Google Maps and other applications related to sports enthusiasts.

It will allow its users to set personal workout targets and help monitor their exercise schedules and efficiency.

The new application would have all the fundamental features of the Nike + iPod and is said to use various iPhone’s features, such as satnav that helps the users in tracking progress while on the move and an accelerometer that could substitute the sensor currently being used in Nike + iPod.

The application is expected to appear in September this year.
