  • Fujitsu Siemens Joins Netbook Race With Mini Amilo Laptop With Bluetooth and Expresscard

01 September, 2008, by Desire Athow
Fujitsu Siemens is the latest computer manufacturer to join in the Netbook market with yet another cloned netbook called the Amilo Mini Ui 3520.

In what is worryingly starting to look like an army of look-alikes, Fujitsu Siemens continues to toe the line feature wise but manages to offer a few uniques.

Still the same Atom Processor from Intel, 1GB memory, WiFi, Windows XP Home Edition, Ethernet, Card reader, a 80GB hard disk drive, a webcam and a 8.9-inch display.

The specification is completed by a clip-on system which allows you customise the laptop the way you are, Bluetooth connectivity as well as an Expresscard 34 slot and a four-cell 2200mAH battery.

No SSD or Linux option according to Fujitsu Siemens.

At less than 1Kg and with a suggested price of around 399 Euros when it comes to market in October, there's not much to differentiate it from the rest of the growing crowd of pretenders to the crown of the Asus EEE PC laptop.
