ASUS All Set To Roll Out Its Ultra Fast Eee PC 1201N Netbook

ASUS Computers Inc. has firmed up its plan for launching its sophisticated Eee PC 1201N multimedia Netbook in UK and it’s expected to store somewhere in mid January 2010.

The sleek new netbook will be available in black and silver colours and will sport a price tag of ₤399. Asus has also claimed that the Netbook will break all performance boundaries in its class thanks to its Intel Atom 330 dual core processor and Nvidia ION dedicated graphics with full HD media support.

The other features of the new Windows 7, 12.1-inch device includes a LED-backlit, 1366 x768 WXGA display, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, webcam, HDMI port and a memory card reader. Asus has also reported that the Netbook will have a 5-hour long battery life along with a 250GB hard drive plus 500GB online Eee storage, 2GB RAM.

Asus is a Taiwan based multinational company that manufactures motherboards, graphics cards, sound cards, optical drives, PDAs and many other products and it has also listed itself on the London Stock Exchange. Of late it has become a prominent name when it comes to Netbooks and the launch of the advanced Eee PC 1201N signals its intention of increasing its share in the Netbook market.
