Reaching the pinnacle of what some would say a high-profile stupidity, an Austrian jeweller has designed a limited edition customised iPhone sported with gold and diamonds.
The new iPhone, tagged as “Kings Button”, is created by an Austrian jeweller Peter Aloisson, and it is the world’s most expensive iPhone 3G, which has a hefty price-tag worth $2.51 million.
Touting his creation in a flowery language, Mr. Aloisson wrote in his website, “Made of solid 18-carat yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold. A fabulous combination. The white gold line is encrusted with a total of 138 brilliant cut diamonds of the best quality”.
This glitzy piece of art sports a rare 6.6-carat diamond “home button”, which the website quoted as “integrated in design, as if this diamond has been made for ‘taking you home’”.
It seems that the handset would hardly serve any extra purpose except for branding the owner as probably “the richest” among his friends.
However, this exceedingly expensive handset perhaps given entrepreneurs a business idea, provided that they have enough amount of money to invest in such a highly insane venture.
