Korean manufacturer Samsung appears to have a sweet spot for netbooks recently and has released its latest Netbook, the N110 or NC110, officially in Blighty for a rather steep £350.
Users can shave £15 off the price of the item by using the coupon code "15OFF" at the check out at Dixons. The N110's main feature is its ability to run for up to nine hours on one battery charge, thanks to a 6-cell battery.
At 1.26Kg, it packs a 10.1-inch LED screen capable of displaying 1024x600 pixels and which is up to 33 percent brighter than traditional LCD (according to Samsung's figures). The rest of the specification is unfortunately rather mundane. There's an Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard disk drive.
Other features include WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Windows XP Home as well as an Intel 945GSE chipset. The N110 is set to replace the NC10 although it will be costing up to 10 percent more (something which Trustedreviews qualifies as up-selling).
The N110 is one of the many netbooks that Samsung is expected to launch or has been launching. The N120 packed a rather large full size keyboard (or so it says), complete with a whopping 10.5 hours battery life while the N310 and its £400 price tag stands out of the Samsung family because of its Apple-esque Pebble keyboard.
