  • Apple CEO Reports Back To Work

24 June, 2009, by Desire Athow

Steve Jobs has reportedly been back to work on Monday after the rumoured liver transplant that the Apple chief exec received around a couple of months back.

Jobs, who has been on six months leave due to unspecified health issues, was spotted leaving the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California attired in his trademark black turtleneck and jeans, according to Reuters.

Jobs presence in an Apple press release for the first time since he went for the medical leave in January further fuelled the rumours that he had eventually returned from his leave of absence earlier than expected.

Back in January, Jobs notified the world that he was going for a six months leave of absence from the company, notifying he required to focus on health related problems that were “more complex” than he first considered.

In what could be seen as his official statement after his reported return, Steve Jobs touted the new iPhone 3GS by saying, “Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning... With over 50,000 applications available from Apple's revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever”.

Apple, which hasn't revealed information on Jobs' health while he has been on leave, has refused to comment on the reports.
