Girl Slags Off Boss On Facebook And Gets Fired

A woman was seemingly fired from her job after she posted derogatory remarks about her boss on social networking site Facebook, forgetting that she had added her boss into her friend list before posting that abusive rant.

The female worker, named “Lindsay”, updated her status on the site with “OMG [oh my God] I HATE MY JOB!!” She further wrote: “My boss is a total pervy wanker always making me do shit stuff just to piss me off!!”

The post infuriated her boss who logged on to the site within few hours after she posted the tirade. In his response, Lindsay’s boss, named “Brian”, posted reply reminding her that he could access her comments and that he would place her P45 in the post.

In his post, the angered boss wrote: “That shit stuff” is called your “job”, you know, what I pay you to do. And lastly, you also seem to have forgotten that you have two weeks left on your six-month trial period. Don't bother coming in tomorrow.

Furthermore, he mocked Lindsay for forgetting that she had added him into the friend list of the social networking website, and that she was unable to perform even simplest of tasks.

This intriguing case has raised alarms for the employees to check twice before they use their freedom of expression on social networking platforms, particularly when they have their bosses added in the friend list.
