  • Clive Shepherd – It’s Make or Break Time for the Learning and Development Department Part 1

25 March, 2009, by Ben Chai

In this podcast, Ben Chai, editor of Learning Technologies magazine discusses with Clive Shepherd, the importance of the Learning and Development department in taking action before being overwhelmed by the current economic crisis.

Clive Shepherd has worked in the learning arena for over two and a half decades and was the former director of Training and Creative Services for American Express. Today he is the current Chair of the eLearning Network, a non-profit organisation designed to help organisations get the most out of technology based learning. As well as an educationalist, Clive is a prolific writer and has written many thought provoking articles for Learning Technologies magazine and spoken at a number of Learning Technologies conferences. His own blog profile describes Clive as someone who has spent the past 25 years working with computers trying to make learning things happen electronically. He's still trying to figure it out.
