A simple tool that allows a computer user to keep track of how much time he or she spends working on a computer. MapleXP is a simple program that allows a PC user to keep track of how much time he or she spends working on various projects.

With MapleXP, each project can be divided into a hierarchical structure of tasks, which allows for very precise tracking of working time.

The very first step is to create a new database file in which all your data will be kept. This operation is similar for example to creating a new spreadsheet, except that you must provide a location for the database file just at creation time, not when data is saved for the first time.

Most users will need only one database file as it is capable of storing a record of user activity for any period of time. It is though possible to create as many databases as needed.

A user could for example create one database file for his or her office projects and another one to track his or her private use of computer at home.

Important thing to remember is that one database file is intended for one person. Thus, if MapleXp is installed on a shared PC, each user should create his own database file and save it to his personal folder.
