  • HTC Touch Pro 2 Coming On 12 June

20 May, 2009, by Ruk Cooray

The first half of June seems to be packed with mobile handset launches, with Palm Pre hitting the shelves on the 6th, the next version of iPhone is said to be announced on the 8th, and now the new Palm Touch Pro 2 is landing in UK on 12th June.

As per a post from WM PowerUser, the online retailer Expansys has already updated its pre-order page for the highly anticipated HTC Touch Pro 2 and spells out a probable launch date of 12th June.

The handset boasts of HTC’s new signature TouchFLO D skin over Windows Mobile and full slide-out QWERTY keyboard to help users sending emails and instant messages in an easier way.

In addition to it, the handset features a 3.2 megapixel camera along with a secondary VGA video conferencing camera, 3.6-inch WVGA touch-screen display, HSDPA and GPS connectivity, and a tilting display.

With a price tag of £519.99, the handset is definitely not cheap, but thankfully it will be launched unlocked. However, Vodafone has already announced the handset for business users, but the company hasn’t declared the launch date yet.

Citing the impressive success of the original HTC Touch Pro smartphone and the kind of innovation HTC showcased in mobile technology, HTC Touch Pro should emerge as a winner.
